The Wendell Woman’s Club sponsors many worthy causes:
- Operation Smile which provides reconstructive surgery and related health care to indigent children and adults world wide.
- Education Scholarships - The HOBY Program, a leadership program awarded to a sophomore showing potential for leadership, The Sallie Southall Cotton Scholarship, awarded to a graduating senior based on grades and need, and The Mary Kay Whitener Piano Scholarship, awarded during the annual art festival.
- Chrysalis Club Program at the Women’s Correctional Center providing annual visits to residents demonstrating exceptional behavior.
- Oliver House - provides assisted living facility with donations of wheel chair bags and clothing.
- Protect Every Child - working to protect children on the Internet. See www.protecteverycyild.org.
Reduced rate building rental for church services.
Donations of the use of our building and/or grounds for:
- Health Fairs
- Youth Meetings
- Chamber of Commerce
- Wendell Historical Society
- St. Eugene’s International Food Festival
